lux025 is our first solar-powered vehicle: a single-seater designed for the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge, featuring 6 m² of solar cells and reaching speeds of up to 120 km/h across the Australian outback.
We are a group of passionate students from the Technical University of Munich committed to designing and building one of the world’s most efficient solar vehicles. With a strong track record in international competitions, we continuously strives to advance the limits of sustainable mobility and innovative engineering.
Our mission: To develop highly energy-efficient vehicles by actively dealing with the latest developments in electromobility and creating innovative solutions through interdisciplinary cooperation.
“For me this project is more than about students who build cars. It is a place where you can push the limits of engineering and bring your ideas to life.”
Zeynep Aydin, Mechanical Team
“Being part of this team means turning ambitious concepts into reality. Every challenge becomes a chance to learn, innovate, and grow as an engineer.”
